What we do: 
In Freiburg, we’re working on the heart of our quantum computer – a diamond-based quantum chip. With atomic precision, we create defects in the diamond to make the next generation of computers a reality. That’s where you come in: we need creative minds like yours to help automate processes and analyse images from our cutting-edge measurement techniques. 

Your tasks 

• You’ll assist in automating lab processes, especially in analysing images from imaging techniques like scanning tunneling microscopy. 

• We’ll tailor your tasks to match your skills and interests – this is your chance to make a real impact! 

What you should bring 

• You’re a student (university/college) in computer science, mathematics, physics, electrical engineering, or a similar field. 

• Python is more than just a programming language to you. 

• Ideally, you’ve already worked with image analysis tools like Scipy, Scikit, OpenCV or SPIEPy 

• You speak German or English fluently.

The position is limited to one year, with the option to extend. We offer a minimum of 14€/hour with a maximum of 80 working hours per month.
