We have an immediate opening in our new Fort Pierce, FL location for an HR/Admin assistant!

Palmetto Yacht is looking for a reliable HR/Administrative assistant. The candidate will undertake HR and Administrative tasks, ensuring the rest of the staff has adequate support to work efficiently. The tasks of the office administrator will include recruiting, permitting, document compliance, and Human Resources. The ideal candidate will be competent in prioritizing and working with little supervision. They will be self-motivated and trustworthy. The position will assist the Administrative team to ensure the smooth running of our company’s offices and contribute to driving sustainable growth.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate office activities and operations to improve efficiency and monitor compliance with company policies
  • Manage phone calls and correspondence (e-mail, letters, packages, etc.)
  • Support new employee onboarding and training procedures
  • Create and update records and databases with personnel, financial and other data
  • Track stocks of office supplies and place orders when necessary
  • Submit timely reports and prepare presentations/proposals as assigned
  • Assist colleagues whenever necessary

Skills

  • Proven experience as an Office Administrator, Office Assistant, HR Generalist, or relevant role
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Excellent organizational and leadership skills
  • Familiarity with office management procedures and basic Human Resources principles
  • Excellent knowledge of Google applications and office management software
  • Knowledge and experience with G-Sheets and HRM Practices are highly preferred
  • Qualifications in secretarial studies will be an advantage

    Experience:

  • Google Suite
  • HR and/or Administrative Experience: 2 years
