*** Part Time ***
Current hours include: 7:30am – 12:00pm Tuesday morning and Friday 7:30am – 2:00pm.
We are looking for a qualified registered nurse for our Ambulatory Surgery Center for part-time work. You will work with a variety of pain management patients and provide direct nursing care.
RESPONSIBILITIES
– Rendering of professional care to our patients, making every effort to remain a flexible, cooperative and supportive member of our clinical team.
– Acting as a liaison between the physician and the patient and patient’s family or support person(s).
– Maintaining the role of patient advocate.
– Must have excellent IV start skills
– Dealing compassionately, professionally, and courteously with patients, their families, physicians, and fellow staff.
REQUIREMENTS
– Education: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
– Licensing: Possess an active Maryland Registered Nurse License.
– Current BLS certification.
– Participation in continuing education
Clinical expertise in ambulatory surgery center nursing preferred.
