Quality Assurance Specialist (internal)

We are looking for a Quality Assurance Specialist in Macrobond Content to support Data Quality unit in building data quality culture in and outside Content team, aiming at minimizing update delays and data errors, and overseeing constant improvements towards data consistency, coherence, completeness, reliability, accuracy, and timeliness. The main area of focus is Macrobond key series’ quality assurance, from pre-update quality control to after-update arising issue management. 

Your main responsibilities:

Operational management 

• initiating and coordinating activities improving widely understood data quality;  

• in cooperation with Data Quality unit members – improving and introducing quality-related tools, consistency checks, routines, and policies;  

• supporting data teams by providing second layer of quality of key series or prioritized datasets:  

• checklist-based quality assurance before updates to secure 100% readiness to the upcoming update;  

• complete analysis of issues arising from RTs – identification of the root cause, evaluation of practical solutions, defining recommendations for data owner(s  

• helping to coordinate and plan operational improvements to data owners and data teams;  

• providing support to colleagues on more complex data operations and tools;  

• providing quality support to Team Leaders, including in-team error analysis and recommendations;  

• providing expertise and preparing material upon key clients’ requirements in relation to quality;  

• taking care of process efficiency within the area of focus, with strong emphasis on scalable and automated solutions;  

• cooperating with quality agents/experts/associate positions and supporting quality tasks and projects;  

• participating in creating and maintaining up-to-date documentation related to the area of focus, including SharePoint repositories and instructions;  

• coordinating sharing, expanding, and maintaining knowledge in and outside Content team by providing proper documentation, presentations, workshops, etc.;  

• managing workflows, priorities, and progress in RT/Jira/Mantis queues;  

• carrying out ad-hoc tasks and projects within the area of focus, as assigned by the direct manager when needed;  

• producing improvement suggestions supporting the Macrobond product or internal processes  

Stakeholder management 

• communicating proactively with all stakeholders, including local management, product management, sales, content, development, and upper management;  

• cooperating with team managers to provide input regarding individual performance and talent management;  

• communicating with clients and providing support in quality-related issues;  

• guiding, training and mentoring Content members on various data quality aspects;  

• promoting a collaborative work environment to provide top notch customer service.  

Other 

• working in accordance with Macrobond policies and implemented rules;  

• being a role model in terms of knowledge, cooperation, communication, attitude, with respect to Macrobond culture and values.  

Our requirements: 

• preferred Macrobond experience with prior involvement in quality-related projects and initiatives and role-model execution of Data Specialists’ duties;  

• excellent understanding of how data quality is perceived by clients;  

• good communication, delegation, and organization skills;  

• problem solving skills;  

• positive attitude, knowledge sharing willingness & good business understanding;  

• required location: one of Macrobond Content offices (Szczecin, Lisbon, Hongkong)
