Experienced MIG Welder Position:
Requirements:
- 5 years of full-time welding experience Required. Will consider people with 4 years of Full-Time experience MIG Welding, if they also have a degree in welding from an accredited program in addition (Your resume should show this experience in order to be considered for the position – if you do not have welding experience, please do not apply for this MIG Welding position)
- Weld Certs – preferred, not required
- Knowledge of industry terminology
- Ability to read weld symbols
- Ability to follow verbal and written directions
- Weld test required during interview process
- Must be reliable – arrive at work on time each morning and at work every day scheduled
- If Overtime is necessary – must be willing to work as early as 6am & work Saturday mornings
- Provide own basic tools – list provided during interview
- Polite, friendly attitude
- Efficient team player with good communication skills to get the job done properly
- Ability to stand for long periods of time on concrete floor or gravel
- Ability to work well with others
Starting Rate of Pay: $21-22.00/hr – review after 90 days of employment to determine payscale based on performance moving forward. Employees will be evaluated based on daily performance, attendance and time management. Benefits kick in after 90 days as well – see the following benefit information for details)

- Paid weekly – direct deposit available – must have VOIDED Check or Direct Deposit advice from bank attached to DD Form
- Medical, Dental, Vision, AD&D, and Life Insurance benefits actually kick in on the 1st of the month after 60 days of employment
- Approx 83% of medical, dental, vision paid by the company for the Employee Only with option to upgrade your coverage, add spouse and children, by paying the difference – for Employee only with the base insurance coverage the employee portion is $92/month
- AD&D and Life insurance is 100% paid by the company
- Review at 90 days to determine correct pay scale for your skills
- After 90 days you earn:
- Up to 40 hours a year of company paid sick time – start accruing on 1st day, available to use after 90 days
- 3 paid holidays – Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day and New Year’s Day, plus other non-paid holidays that we take off depending on workload and timing (for example: the day after Thanksgiving, July 4th, Memorial Day, Labor Day, etc.)
- Optional other insurances such as short term disability, critical care, etc. are available at the employee’s cost
- After 6 months you earn:
- 401k that has a safe harbor company match of 3% then a ½% match for each % up to 5%
- Example: Joe puts 5% into his 401k each paycheck, the company contributes 4%
- Example: Jane puts 3% into his 401k each check, the company puts in 3% too
- Enrollment is at the 1st of each quarter so you enroll after your qualification date (Jan 1, Apr 1, July 1, Oct 1)
- After 12 months you earn: One week of paid vacation time
- After 3 years you earn: Two weeks of paid vacation, instead of one week
