The Product Marketing Manager at Foods Connected will be responsible for driving the marketing strategy and execution for our suite of software products. You will work closely with cross-functional teams including product development, sales, and customer success to ensure successful product launches, customer engagement, and market penetration. This role requires a blend of strategic thinking, creative execution, and strong analytical skills.
The Product Marketing Manager will have a truly global focus due to Foods Connected’s expansion into markets including EMEA, APAC and North America.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Define and execute comprehensive product marketing strategies to drive awareness, adoption, and retention of Foods Connected software products.
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify market trends, customer needs, and competitive differentiators. Utilize insights to inform product positioning and messaging.
- Develop compelling positioning and messaging that resonates with target audiences and effectively communicates the value proposition of Foods Connected products.
- Collaborate with product management, sales, and marketing teams to develop go-to-market plans for new product launches and feature releases.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product management, sales, customer success, and executive leadership to align marketing initiatives with overall business objectives.
- Create high-quality marketing collateral including sales enablement materials, product guides, case studies, website content, blog posts, and other marketing assets.
- Provide sales teams with the necessary tools, training, and resources to effectively communicate product value propositions and drive revenue growth.
- Develop and execute strategies to engage and nurture existing customers, including email campaigns, user communities, and customer advocacy programs.
- Monitor and analyse key performance metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and initiatives. Utilize data-driven insights to optimize marketing strategies and drive continuous improvement.
- Supports innovation through trend analysis, identifying new opportunities, developing novel ideas and/or participation in idea generation activities to improve company processes, services, or products.
- Establish Foods Connected as a thought leader in the food industry by developing and promoting insightful content, participating in industry events, and engaging with industry influencers.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or a related field and 4 years relevant experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Preferred Qualifications
• 5+ years’ experience in a similar Product Marketing role with specific experience of Software solutions or the SaaS space.
• Prior experience within a Software Business or within the Food Industry
Experience Required:
To perform this job successfully, the Product Marketing Manager should have experience with:
- Understanding of Marketing Principles, market Research and Product positioning.
- Prior experience and knowledge with SaaS products.
- CRM system management (HubSpot, Salesforce or similar).
- Familiarity with planning platforms such as JIRA, Trello or similar.
- Knowledge of software solutions utilised across the Food Industry.
- Microsoft: 365 Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
