About the Role:
We are looking for an experienced Talent Acquisition Specialist focused in Technical Recruiting to join our dynamic team. This role is crucial in helping us attract and hire top-tier technical talent, particularly for software development, IT, and engineering roles. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in technical recruitment, excellent sourcing skills, and the ability to work closely with hiring managers to meet staffing needs.
Responsibilities:
- Technical Recruitment: Manage the full-cycle recruitment process for technical roles, including software developers, engineers, data scientists, and IT professionals.
- Sourcing & Pipeline Management: Proactively source candidates using various channels, such as LinkedIn, GitHub, Stack Overflow, and niche job boards.
- Collaboration: Work closely with hiring managers to understand the specific technical skill sets required for each role, ensuring alignment with recruitment strategies.
- Screening & Interviewing: Conduct initial candidate screenings to assess technical capabilities and cultural fit. Coordinate and participate in technical interviews with relevant stakeholders.
- Employer Branding: Promote the company’s employer brand and technical opportunities on various platforms to attract high-quality talent.
- Data-Driven Recruitment: Utilise data and metrics to monitor and improve recruitment efficiency, candidate experience, and time-to-hire.
- Candidate Management: Maintain strong relationships with candidates through timely communication, ensuring a positive candidate experience from initial contact to onboarding.
- Recruitment Tools & ATS: Utilise Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and other recruitment tools to manage candidate pipelines effectively.
Requirements:
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in technical recruitment, with a focus on hiring software developers, engineers, and other technical professionals.
- Technical Skills: Familiarity with programming languages, software development methodologies, and technical tools to effectively screen and communicate with candidates.
- Sourcing Expertise: Strong experience in leveraging various sourcing platforms (LinkedIn Recruiter, GitHub, Stack Overflow, etc.) to find and attract top technical talent.
- Recruitment Tools: Proficient in using Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), CRM tools, and other recruitment technologies.
- Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication, relationship-building, and stakeholder management skills. Ability to influence hiring managers and provide consultative advice.
- Attention to Detail: Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple requisitions at different stages.
- Data-Driven Mindset: Experience in utilising recruitment data and analytics to optimise processes and decision-making.
- Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, managing multiple priorities with ease.
