The Part You will Play – Role Summary:

The Company is in the process of implementing a new Certinia (previously FinancialForce  and built on the SalesForce platform) ERP system to replace its current Microsoft Dynamics NAV 2009 system.  Modules being implemented include Finance and Project Accounting, including Web Time & Expenses and Business Reporting & Analytics.  The requirement is for a resource to lead the project on a contract basis for 6 months.

Essential Functions & Role Responsibilities:

• Project manage the implementation working with the ERP service provider and the Finance and Customer Success teams
• Configuration:  Configure the solution as required to company needs. In particular Accounts Receivable/Revenue recognition will need to be flexible to accommodate multiple types of customer contracts and billing.
• Integrations:  Ensure developed integrations with external systems are working correctly and assist with integration to the in-house data warehouse.
• Testing:  Plan and help conduct the overall testing process including data validation and completeness
• Training:  Ensure quality user training is provided in co-ordination with the ERP service provider as well as preparing user guides for end users
• Cutover/Migration:  Develop detailed cutover planning ensuring resources are assigned to minimize downtime and disruption to the business.  Monitor progress versus the cut-over plan taking necessary action to maintain the schedule and ensure management are informed of deviations.  Ensure that date migrated from old system is accurate and complete
• Reports:  Ensure essential reports are setup for end-users prior to go live
• Go Live and Post Go Live support:  Manage go-live to ensure controls are not breeched and issues are addressed ensuring sufficient support of users during initial days of system operation
• Other areas as required on an ad-hoc

Critical Success Factors – Knowledge & Experience:

• 5 years ERP Implementation Lead experience (preferably Certinia/FinancialForce)
• 5 years Project Management with a proven track record delivering projects
• Experience leading cross-functional teams and managing complex projects with multiple stakeholders
