3D Drafter

DEM Elevating Equipment is a family-owned and operated elevator manufacturing company that has been a fixture in the industry for almost 3 decades. We offer a comprehensive product lineup aimed at making us a one-stop-shop for all elevator parts and components. We are seeking a 3D Drafter to add to our engineering team!

Work Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop detailed 3D shop fabrication drawings based on specifications and design requirements for custom elevators.
• Collaborate with engineers and team members to refine and validate designs.
• Ensure all drawings adhere to industry standards and company guidelines.
• Perform quality checks for accuracy and completeness.
• Conduct quality checks on drawings to ensure accuracy and completeness
• Assist in creating any additional custom drawings as needed to support project needs.
• Maintain project timelines and ensure drafting deliverables are completed on schedule.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma required.
• SolidWorks experience required.
• AutoCAD experience is a plus.
• Additional training/certifications in drafting or related field is a plus.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).

• Strong understanding of technical drawings and specifications.
• Exceptional organizational skills with high attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• Reliable attendance and excellent communication skills.
