Accessories Developer

The Accessories Developer is responsible for coordination of prototyping, sampling and production
processes of accessories.

Key responsibilities and duties:

• Development of luxury womenswear & menswear Soft Accessories/Eyewear/Small Leather Goods (SLG)/Shoes, Bags in close collaboration with the design teams each season.
• Sourcing of fabrics, trims and packaging in-line with each seasonal collection and as required.
• Place and follow up on purchasing orders of samples and finished goods throughout the product lifecycle, focusing on multi-sourced-based projects.
• Carry out timely approvals of lab dips, trims, fabrics, shapes, constantly being in direct communication with the internal Design Team and external suppliers.
• Manage the relationships with global manufacturers and raw material suppliers for each collection.
• Generate, update and finalize BOMs and tech packs for seasonal and carry-over SKUs.
• Work across seasonal data sheets and make sure they are up to date.
• Provide cost estimates and carry out the invoicing process.
• Actively participate in the reviews/pre-fitting and fitting processes by preparing and measuring and analyzing prototypes, SMS, PPS, and pre-shipment samples.
• Add or exchange trims and carry out necessary modifications when needed.
• Communicate with the RM warehouse and follow up on available stock inventory,
  assure the trims of timely arrival and send-outs.
• Organize documentation for pick-ups and transport. Support the team with the import/export of goods in foreign trade, being familiar with the system.
• Tracking on-time delivery of samples and finished goods. Arrange and handle the customs clearance.
• Perform quality control of production samples.
• Communicate with the FG warehouse and fulfilment team, and assuring finished goods arrive in the correct quantity on time.
• Report to Product Director about sampling and production status, and flag any occurring issues and delays.

Requirements:

• Relevant BA degree in Fashion Business 
• Previous 1-2 years experience in Accessories product development/production role.
• Strong communication skills with an ability to develop and maintain relationships with internal team members and external suppliers.
• Detail-oriented with a positive can-do, problem-solving attitude and ability to meet tight deadlines.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Cloud.
• Excellent verbal and written English skills are essential
