Accounts Receivable Specialist

 JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Compile daily cash receipts from bank statements
• Reconcile cash receipts on assigned customer accounts based on payment remittances
• Support all cost deduction processing and allocations 
• Investigate complex or disputed program cost deductions via internal validation, customer outreach, and/or vendor portal document retrieval
• Complete posting of cash application and credit memos to record the reconciliations
• Complete end to end workflow on daily basis utilizing program costs software & ERP system
• Complete assigned portion of month end or year-end reconciliation closing procedures
• Analyze actual program costs claim in comparison to accrual provision amounts
• Compile and submit claims to key vendors for reimbursement claims still owing
• Keep master matrix updated on timely basis

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Minimum 2 years Accounting Experience in professional setting
• Accounting degree/diploma preferred
• CPA Candidate preferred
• Dynamic and adaptable team player
• Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills.
• Exceptional attention to detail.
• Experience with ERP systems and Business Intelligence software considered an asset
• Intermediate to Advanced Excel skills
