App Tech Lead (Flutter) – English

Fell Technology is looking for a skilled Tech Lead for App with a focus on Flutter for our development team.

As an App Tech Lead in Fell Technology, you will be part of a dynamic, interdisciplinary team with high competence, consisting of developers, architects, product designers, designers, and sales teams. You will be working in an international environment and take part in development processes from prototype to production.

Our products are primarily within IoT, Smart Home, and safety in residential and marine, with technologies such as Bluetooth, Zigbee, proprietary wireless protocols, CAN-Bus communication with engine systems, and the latest in serverless architectures on backend systems. We believe that in the heart of this there must be a solid core of DevOps mindset and systems to ensure quality at all levels.

In our app development, we use Flutter for all new projects.

Your assignments will be:

• Role as Tech Lead in development projects in Flutter.
• Responsibility for maintaining high code quality and standards.
• Lead work on architecture and technical solutions.
• Perform and plan code reviews.
• Work closely with development teams on embedded software and cloud applications to ensure high product quality.

• Further develop our systems for continuous integration and continuous deployment.
• Work to prioritize backlogs, delegate work, and work with developers to optimize development, learning, and motivation in collaboration with project managers.
• Share your experience with the organization.
• Stay up to date on new technology and processes within your subject area.

Applicable additional assignments:

• Lead external software resources as needed to fulfill the project goals.

Qualifications:

• A true passion for delivering quality – always.
• BSc or MSc in Computer Science, Cybernetics, or similar.
• Minimum 5 years experience within relevant fields.
• Experience with product development is an advantage.

• Experience with iOS and Android development.
• Experience with Flutter counts positively.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines.

• Strong time management skills and ability to work towards a deadline.

We are located in the heart of Drammen accessible by public transport. We also have offices for disposition in Karenslyst Allé 6, Skøyen, Oslo.

We have an internal ESD-protected electronics/RF lab and a workshop for 3D printing and environmental testing.
