Your mission at Sistema.bio:

The purpose of the Business Analyst role is to use data analytics and reporting to support efficient project delivery and business operations of all Sistema.bio Africa teams to accelerate growth according to company goals and objectives.

You’ll be in charge of:

• Collecting, compiling, and analyzing sales-related data and providing valuable feedback and actionable insights to guide the various commercial planning processes for external and internal dissemination.
• Tracking assigned projects’ progress, ensuring that deliverables align with business goals, and adjusting where necessary.
• Documentation of project management protocols of each project including links to resources and contact addresses of stakeholders.
• Developing dashboards, executive summaries, and monthly reports to measure against project progress for internal and external reporting.
• Identifying and understanding performance trends, assessing performance against targets, and highlighting opportunities.
• Understanding and assessing the changing needs of the business, analyzing the impacts of change, documenting and supporting communication between relevant groups and stakeholders, and capturing requirements needed to initiate a change. 
• Developing business cases with clear and detailed documentation, including business requirements documents (BRD), functional requirements documents (FRD), and user stories.

More about YOU:

• Bachelor’s degree in Actuarial science, Statistics, Mathematics,  Business, Marketing, or any relevant field.
• At least 5 years experience in a relevant field with general analytics and reporting experience.
• Advanced MS Excel, Power BI/Tableau, and salesforce experience is a plus.
• Strategic Thinking & Orientation.
• Confidence in working with complex data and systems.
• An understanding of how IT can be used to resolve problems.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work with people at all levels of an organization.
• Time management and organizational skills.
• Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• An interest in, and understanding of, project management techniques.
• Detail-oriented and capable of delivering a high level of accuracy.
