Cocktail Server Job Description

We are looking for a professional, high-energy Cocktail Server with excellent communication skills to serve our guests. The Server will greet customers, learn about their preferences, answer questions, recommend cocktails and menu items, assist the team in preparation, and serve beverages and food. You will also upsell items, assist customers with their reservation needs. Program POS System (Lightspeed) with menu items and pricing. Ensure lounge area is always clean presentable and organized according to the lounge standards including music, lighting, decoration, set up, and hygiene protocols.

Cocktail Server Responsibilities

• Will guide and educate guests about the cocktail and food options, assisting them with their needs and making recommendations based on their preferences.
• Taking and serving order, provide excellent customer service, keep bills and tabs organized diligently.
• Should be attentive and able to communicate effectively in order to provide the best guest experience.
• Checking identification to ensure customers are the legal age to purchase alcohol.
• Assisting fellow servers as situations arise
• Adhering to all food safety and quality regulations.
• Handling cash, credit, and debit card transactions, ensuring charges are accurate and returning correct change to patrons, balancing the cash register.
• Maintaining a clean work and dining area by removing trash, cleaning tables, and washing glasses, utensils, and equipment.
• Assist with clearing and resetting tables

Cocktail Server Requirements

• High School Diploma.
• Additional education, training, certificates, or experience may be required.
• Meets legal minimum age to serve food and alcohol.
• Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Positive, engaging personality, and professional appearance.
• Basic math and computer skills.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
• Strong task and time management abilities.
• Eye for detail and understanding of drink mixing tools and techniques.

Salary : minimum $5 per hour + Grats and side tips.
