Position Summary:

The Pharmacy Director will be a full-time/exempt position responsible for ensuring that the Pharmacy Department meets all legal, accreditation and certification requirements.  The Director shall also ensure department complies with all applicable Hospital policies and procedures, including adequate staffing levels.  Serves as the Pharmacist In Charge.

Qualifications:

Requires Doctor of Pharmacy degree and Current State of California Pharmacist License.

Requires five or more years employment in Hospital setting with two years supervisory experience.  Knowledge of Hospital Pharmacy practice and clinical Pharmacy practice as relates to Hospital operations and ability to implement Hospital policies and procedures.  Knowledge of state, federal, Approved Accrediting Agency guidelines required.
