Job Description:

The Door & Hardware Detailer contributes to the pursuit of achieving client satisfaction by providing accurate and detailed shop drawings, specifications, and other project-related documents for commercial contract door and hardware projects. This role will work closely with the Project Manager, Estimator, and other team members to ensure efficient project execution. This is a remote position.

Emullion software experience is preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Develop detailed shop drawings, specifications, and other project-related documents for multiple small to large contract door and hardware projects simultaneously.
2. Review project specifications, architectural drawings, and other relevant documents to generate accurate and detailed submittals.
3. Collaborate with the Project Manager, Estimator, and other team members to ensure proper coordination and execution of door and hardware projects.
4. Utilize Emullion software to efficiently generate accurate shop drawings and submittals.
5. Address and resolve any discrepancies or issues related to shop drawings or submittals in a timely manner.
6. Coordinate with suppliers and manufacturers to ensure the accurate representation of products and materials in shop drawings and submittals.
7. Maintain effective communication with all project stakeholders, including architects, clients, and internal team members.
8. Ensure timely completion and submission of shop drawings and submittals to meet project deadlines.
9. Continuously improve and update knowledge of door and hardware products, industry standards, and best practices.

Requirements:

1. Minimum of 3 years of experience in door & hardware detailing, or a relevant degree with 1-2 years of experience.
2. Proficiency in Emullion software or similar software programs is preferred.
3. Strong knowledge of contract door and hardware products, materials, and industry standards.
4. Ability to read and understand architectural drawings and specifications.
5. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat, and other relevant software programs.
6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
7. Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
8. Ability to work efficiently and effectively with minimal supervision.
9. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to make informed decisions.
