Title: Forensic Interviewer and CAC Administrative Coordinator
Grade Level: J_Advanced Specialties
Supervised by: CAC Program Manager
Starting Wage: $23.00 hourly
Purpose:
Brigid Collins Family Suport Center is hiring for a Forensic Interviewer and Administrative Coordinator to work in the Whatcom County Children’s Advocacy Center. The position will be responsible for conducting forensic interviews with children who are believed to have been victims of physical or sexual abuse, coordinating with the CAC Program Manager and Whatcom County Multidisciplinary Team, and providing administrative support in the Whatcom CAC.
This position is primarily in office in Bellingham, WA with opportunities for some remote work and flexible schedules.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in a human services or criminal justice-related field.
- 2 years of relevant professional experience.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Prior training and experience in an evidence-based treatment model for childhood trauma preferred.
- Fluency in Spanish and English desired.
Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Assist with Steering Committee and Multi-disciplinary team meetings.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation and reporting consistent with accreditation standards.
- Create, update and maintain client records and other data reporting systems.
- Prepare and submit comprehensive data reports.
- Back up program manager with coordinating forensic interview recordings as assigned.
- Maintain contact information, prepare reports, track case progress, support accreditation efforts, and provide court testimony.
- Ensure adherence to program accreditation standards and evidence-based practices.
- Back-up Program Manager in coordination and scheduling of forensic interviews and medical exams.
- Provide on-site coordination during interviews and medical exams as assigned.
- Support post-interview and post-medical exam activities.
- Participate in ongoing training and support activities.
- Provide high quality child forensic interviews consistent with Washington State protocols and up-to-date research.
- Actively participate in peer review meetings.
- Attend and contribute to Steering Committee and MDT case review meetings.
- Support National Children’s Alliance reaccreditation application and site visits.
- Provide necessary referrals and links.
- Seek and accept supervision.
- Attend regular staff and program meetings.
- Perform other client support-related duties as assigned.
