Google Ads Trainee

NB. This is a hybrid role with 2 – 3 days in our Dublin 2 office. The other days can be in office or remote.

We’re now looking for a Google Ads Trainee to join our award-winning paid search team and work with some of our fantastic clients across a number of verticals including retail, SaaS, finance & B2B.

The Trainee Position is a full-time role paid at the living wage for is 6 month duration. This will be (€14.8 per hour) for its 6-month duration. Trainees who meet the high standard required during the 6 months will be offered a full-time salaried Executive position with Wolfgang Digital.

The role is based in our Dublin office with hybrid working in place. Wednesday and Thursday are mandatory in-office days, with the odd Friday also mandatory. The other days can be in office or remote.

This is a great role for somebody who has been in the workforce and is currently retraining/ has recently retrained to become a Digital Marketer.

The Role: Google Ads Trainee (6 months)

• Assisting our Adwords team to create, optimise & report on PPC campaigns in Google Adwords and Bing
• You will gain an excellent working knowledge of Google AdWords, Google Analytics & E-Commerce
• You will also learn alongside our paid social, content and SEO teams gaining skills in these fields
• The role is based in our Dublin office with hybrid working in place
• The trainee position is paid at the living wage (€14.80) for its 6 month duration
• Trainees who meet the high standard required during the 6 months will be offered a full time paid position with Wolfgang Digital

Must Haves:

• Digital Marketing Qualification, 3rd Level Degree with 2.1 or higher
• Fluent English
• Min 2 years professional experience (any profession)
• Strong numerical skills
• Google Sheets / Microsoft Excel experience

Desirables:

• Google Adwords Certified
• Experience within Google Analytics
• Engineering or Maths based degree or masters
• Engineering or Maths based professional experience
• Second European Language Masters or further
• Passion for strategy/data driven games eg. Chess
• Experience public speaking
• Evidence of enthusiasm for PPC and Digital Marketing (e.g. blog)

The Expectation:

Month 3:

You will be very comfortable creating & managing PPC campaigns.

Month 6:

You will be very comfortable communicating with clients, answering their questions, as well as identifying and communicating problems & opportunities.
