We are looking for someone with experience in: 

• Planning and authoring virtual instructor-led training (vILT) courses with online asynchronous activities and discussion. 
  • Collaborating with client and client SMEs to determine course goals and objectives.
  • Organizing client SMEs to source or create text/video/audio content that supports the course objectives.
  • Collaborating with client SMEs to create independent and group activities that allow participants to practice course objectives. 
• Producing Virtual Learning Events
  • Collaborating in a team to run large group Zoom meetings (changing slides, playing audio and video, spotlighting current speakers, launching polls, creating breakout rooms, adjusting Zoom meeting settings, coordinating with client SMEs to fulfill event schedule).
• Learning Management System Administration
  • Assist in updating text, documents, participation grades in course webpage on (Moodle-based) LMS.
• Client Interaction
  • Attending meetings and actively listening to instructional designer, client SMEs, and client in order to take notes and clarify action items.
  • Communicating with client SMEs to ensure coordination of various project deliverables.
• Internal Collaboration
  • Assist instructional designer with collecting and vetting of existing text and video resources that will serve as reading and viewing for learners. (i.e., Take texts/videos offered by the client SMEs and help create relevant questions.)  
  • Be a sounding board for ideas about learning activity formats and course “housekeeping” (what communications to send out to learners and when).
  • Proofreading of participant-facing worksheets and LMS text.
  • Adding client brand formatting and PDF fillable question boxes / form fields.

Required

• Experience in a similar role in a virtual adult learning environment, or facilitating/teaching in a virtual adult learning environment. 
• Experience functioning as an administrator of a Learning Management System. 
• Familiarity with adult learning principles, and/or medical professional learning environments are beneficial.
• Experience using Moodle preferred.
• Ability to commit to at least 5 hours of independent work and meetings per week. 

This is an independent contractor opportunity and not employment with Forj. Estimated 5-7 billable hours per week.  Live interactions will generally occur between the hours of 9 am and 4 pm central time, Monday through Friday. Independent work can be completed during other timeframes.

This role is remote. You must have your own laptop with the Microsoft Office Suite and access to reliable internet.
