Intern 2024

Arden Wood, a Christian Science Nursing organization nestled in the heart of San Francisco, is thrilled to announce the commencement of our Internship Program in January 2024. This exclusive opportunity is extended to college students eager to embark on a rewarding journey of professional development and hands-on experience.

Internship Tracks:

1. Christian Science Nursing/Residential Services:
   • Duration: 4-8 weeks
   • Responsibilities: Engage in a transformative experience by spending 5 hours a day on the Christian Science Nursing floor alongside experienced Christian Science Nurses and Mentors. Gain insights into the fundamental aspects of Christian Science Nursing. Additionally, collaborate with our Residential department, interacting with independent living residents and activities coordinators to understand the residential side of our organization.
   • Daily Journal Prompts: Interns are required to answer daily journal prompts, providing reflections on their experiences. Submissions will be done online.
2. Operations Management:
   • Duration: 4-8 weeks
   • Responsibilities: Immerse yourself in the behind-the-scenes operations of Arden Wood. Work closely with our Operations Team and the Director of Operations to gain a comprehensive understanding of organizational management. This internship demands a commitment of 5 hours a day, Monday through Friday.
   • Daily Journal Prompts: Interns are required to answer daily journal prompts, providing reflections on their experiences. Submissions will be done online.
3. Accounting/Business Office:
   • Duration: 4-8 weeks
   • Responsibilities: Step into the world of non-profit accounting within Arden Wood’s business office. Collaborate with the Director of Finance and the accounting department to grasp the fundamentals of accounting in a non-profit setting. This internship requires a commitment of 5 hours a day, Monday through Friday.
   • Daily Journal Prompts: Interns are required to answer daily journal prompts, providing reflections on their experiences. Submissions will be done online.
