MRO Services Purchasing Associate

ART is currently looking for a full-time MRO Services Purchasing Associate. This position is located in Doral, Florida. 

SUMMARY: The Mro Services Purchasing Associate must formulate positive relationships with vendors, while supporting departments within the company.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Contacting vendors in order to research pricing and availability for part requirements.
• Create and process purchase orders via Quick Aviation (QAV).
• Develop and maintain a solid knowledge and working relationship with vendors.
• Follow up with orders for expediting.
• Assist with outsourcing components to outside repair stations.
• Attend and contribute to production meetings with shop managers and other staff.
• Compare product deliveries with issued purchase orders and contact vendors when there are discrepancies

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

• High School diploma or equivalent (GED).
• 1+ years of experience in the customer service field.
• Expert level communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient using various software, applications, and programs, including Microsoft Office program (Excel and Word).
• Ability to work independently or with others and execute desired jobs and tasks.
• Quick Aviation (QAV) Experience a Plus
