Elbow Deep, and You Don’t Care

When you go to work, you really go into your work. I mean elbow deep, if needed.

Plumbing isn’t a job for everyone, which is one reason you know it’s the job for you.

But are you right for us?

Are you friendly?

Are you committed to fixing the problem?

Will you make sure it’s fixed?

Will you remember to pull your pants up? (Look, I know it’s an old stereotype, but the last thing we want is to be the butt of a joke. Literally.)

Let’s cut to the chase: You know your stuff, and what you don’t know we can teach you. What we can’t teach you are manners, personality, and having the heart of a servant.

When you hear us say “servant,” we mean it the way Christ meant it. To truly help someone who needs help. To care for the person you’re helping. To do it honorably, and with the humility He had as He washed the feet of his disciples.

Did that last paragraph make you uncomfortable? You might want to move along, then. You’re not in any way expected to believe what I believe. That’s not appropriate and we don’t work that way. But you should know that my faith in God is the heart and foundation of my company.

Our company is a team of trades all working together to help homeowners. You have to be part detective/part craftsman. Understand what our customer needs to have happen and come up with a way to make it happen.

This is no place for corner-cutters or liars. You’ll need to go to a job with your head held high, proud to represent Aurora Pro Services. That means you’ll have to be neat, clean, and pass a background check.
