Product Owner

FP Markets Group of Companies is a well-established multi-regulated broker, found in Australia, offering traders access to CFD trading on Forex, Indices, Commodities, Stocks and Cryptocurrencies. We are growing and looking to recruit a Product Owner in Cyprus office – a certified Great Place to Work®.

We are looking for a strategic and detail-oriented Product Owner to lead the development and management of a fintech group, with experience in regulated electronic money institutions. In this role, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, execute, and enhance product offerings that empower customers to manage their finances digitally. You will play a key role in shaping product strategy and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.

Responsibilities:

• Define the product vision and roadmap for electronic money solutions, including e-wallets, prepaid cards, and payment processing services
• Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify trends, customer needs, and growth opportunities within the digital payments space
• Work closely with engineering, design, compliance, and marketing teams to translate product requirements into actionable development plans
• Lead the entire product lifecycle, from ideation through launch, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with business goals
• Analyze product performance metrics, user feedback, and market data to inform product enhancements and drive continuous improvement
• Develop go-to-market strategies in collaboration with marketing and sales teams to maximize product adoption and revenue growth
• Ensure all electronic money products comply with relevant regulations, including anti-money laundering (AML) and know your customer (KYC) policies
• Act as a liaison between technical teams and business stakeholders, facilitating communication and addressing any challenges that arise

Candidate Profile:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, or a related field
• Proven experience as a Product Owner, ideally within the fintech, payment processing, or electronic money sectors
• Strong understanding of electronic money regulations and compliance requirements in your target markets
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a data-driven approach to product development
• Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels effectively
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies
