Join Osborn Consulting’s finance team as a Project Accountant! Osborn’s projects shape our daily lives, from neighborhood developments like parks and improved sidewalks, to flooding prevention and stormwater storage to keep communities safe from flooding during rainstorms. Our work builds relationships and trust with cities, counties, and agencies across Washington State.
About You
Our Finance team is looking for a someone with an acute attention to detail, excellent communication skills, has ability to multi-task and is well-organized, thorough, and trustworthy.
We’re looking for someone with:
- 5+ years of project accounting experience at a professional services firm (required).
- Advanced experience with Microsoft Office programs.
- Ability to manage multi-phase tasks, prioritize workload, and problem-solve independently.
- Ability to understand and translate technical details relevant to the industry.
- Experience in A/E/C industry preferred.
About the Role
In this position, you’ll work with a highly collaborative team to:
- Ensure projects are set up and maintained in accordance with contractual terms and conditions.
- Prepare client invoices in accordance with company billing policy guidelines.
- Prepare and distributes monthly reports on project status including budget and forecasting for project reviews.
- Review and process project related vendor and sub-consultant invoices.
- Review and monitor project costs and performance.
- Coordinate with project team to reflect changes in project scope or timeline.
- Review accounts receivable to ensure timely payment of invoices.
- Prepare final project close outs.
Location
This position can be onsite in one of our four offices in Washington state, hybrid, or remote depending on years of experience and location.

The expected compensation range for this position for employees based in the Seattle area is $72,800-$87,360 annually and is dependent upon skills, experience, education, and geographical location.
