We are consistently blown away with our team’s talent, work ethic and solutions focused attitude.

We pride ourselves on developing great leaders and providing opportunities for our people to grow. • Committed to contributing to the best work culture possible every day

Our ideal candidate is a professional. We’re looking for people who aren’t satisfied with “good enough”. Who understand that to be great, everyone must bring a great effort, and that to get where we want to go – we don’t have room for “passengers”.

The right candidate brings all of the above and has proven experience managing projects and people, with the following skills and experience:

  • Excellent leadership and communication
  • Bachelor degree or diploma in construction / Project Management or equivalent experience.
  • Min. 5 years experience working in landscape construction

  • A thorough understanding of industry materials and products, installation methods, and industry best practices
  • Highly proficient using the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook etc)
  • Ability to estimate time and material for projections and for change orders.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively and build relationships with clients, suppliers, management and staff at all levels of the business
  • Ability to prioritize competing demands and meet the needs of several projects/teams
  • Proven sense of urgency and ability to work effectively to deadlines
  • Experience managing, training and supervising staff, and building a cohesive and high performing team
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to respond to escalated inquiries, complaints and feedback from customers, vendors or employees.
  • Must have valid Class 5 drivers license

Lower Mainland Project Managers will manage sites located on the North Shore from Deep Cove to Horseshoe Bay, All over Vancouver, and in Burnaby – we occasionally will work in Coquitlam or Richmond but that’s not too common. We work on salary and are committed to achieving excellent results, supporting the team and the business in all that we do.

We offer:

  • Top tier compensation
  • Paid safety and industry training
  • Education re-imbursement
  • Medical & dental benefits
  • Life insurance & ADD
  • Living wage program
  • Referral bonus
  • Annual profit share
  • Company events
  • Company clothing & workwear discounts
  • Flexible scheduling for vacations
  • Company vehicle & mobile phone allowance (for some positions)
  • Safe & inclusive work environment
  • Advancement & career opportunities

And best of all, a group of incredibly talented and passionate people who make our work a pleasure to perform.

As members of the Houston Landscapes team, we are:

Hard-working. We are process-focused and always looking for ways to continually improve.

Approachable. We bring ideas, are supportive and are open communicators. We listen, learn and grow.

Fun. Work is hard enough without adding negativity to our days – plus, we love to celebrate our success.

Trusted. We look for win-win situations. We don’t win at all costs, rather work to build lasting relationships.

United. We work together toward a common goal.
