We are currently looking for a  project manager to join our dynamic team in Toronto.

As part of your duties, you will call upon:

Planner, organizer, direct and control assigned construction projects
Participate in internal planning and project monitoring meetings
start-up, site meetings, etc.)
Planner of main works, materials, equipment and tools
Develop and update the project schedule as well as 3 weeks look ahead
Track shop drawings and manage change notices
Manage permits, required for the execution of the project
Understand and implement the H&S prevention program

Promote the health and safety culture.

Develop the projects budget, the schedule of value, update regularly the financial forecasts, prepare invoicing breakdown monthly.

Participate in regular site meeting with the client as well as with the project foreman
Understand and implement the contract inclusions, exclusions as well as the specifications and drawings.
Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations
Manage execution non-compliance reports.
Manage the deficiencies and close out documents.
Prepare purchase orders for sub contractors, large material orders, sea-cans, trailers, disposal bins etc….

Skills sought

Minimum of 5 years experiences as a project manager with masonry specialist

Have additional technical training in civil engineering, architecture, or other field related to construction minimum of 10 years in the industry
High level of comfort with construction contracts, drawings and specifications

Have good written and oral communication expertise in English
Microsoft Office suite and Ms Project are a must
