How You’ll Make a Difference: 

Arkos Health is seeking a Provider Relations Representative. The Provider Relations Representative will be responsible for consistent maintenance through telephonic, face-to-face, and written communication. It is vital to establish and retain positive and successful relationships with the participating provider network. The Provider Relations Representative will possess excellent relationship building skills. The position requires someone with an outgoing personality, attention to detail, and firm understanding of the health care delivery system. The Provider Relations Representative will maintain a collaborative, advising, and attentive attitude always. 

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain provider relationships and serve as a primary resource for information and problem solving between the provider network by maintaining a regular schedule of physician office visits
  • Dutifully ensure open lines of communication between Arkos and the provider network to address concerns, answer questions, and apprise offices of quality care metrics
  • Ensure providers receive timely and accurate information regarding organization initiatives, services, programs, policies and procedures, and quality and productivity measurements
  • Provide feedback based upon tracked metrics
  • Coordinate, participate and attend providers programs sponsored by the organization
  • Maintain a structured process for quality of audits, tracking and trending of provider metrics
  • Investigate and resolve administrative issues and concerns between provider network and health plans
  • Respond to incoming phone calls and emails promptly

Qualifications and Skills: 

  • Associates degree or relevant equivalent experience
  • Preferred knowledge of CPT, ICD, HCPCS, HCC coding; training may be available for the right candidate
  • Must be able to interact with healthcare professionals
  • Current unrestricted Arizona Driver’s license, reliable transportation and proof of insurance required
  • Proficient in office equipment (computers, printers, etc) and MS Office programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Access)
  • Knowledge of HMO, PPO, Medicare Risk and Indemnity products preferred; Accuracy and detail orientation (written and verbal)
  • Prior experience with provider networks and contracting with physicians
