Salary: £40,000-£45,000

Role Overview:

The role will involve managing the referral and matching process from Authorities looking to place young people into our Residential Children’s homes, Responses services and Registered schools.

Attending Stakeholder events and supporting Marketing opportunities.

Responsibilities:

• Daily screening of referrals that come into the organisation and supporting the services to have appropriate planned and matched placement offers for the children’s homes, response service and Registered schools
• Managing the process from the point of initial referral through to when the young people are placed
• Maintain databases, report statistics for inclusion in board reports where required
• Communicating effectively with local authorities on the companies predicted vacancies and to have a good rapport with local authority commissioning teams

• Ensuring that the offers of placements are made in a timely manner and that communication is made with both the homes manager and local authority

• Liaising with the finance department to ensure placement contracts and financial arrangements are accurate and communicated effectively
• Supporting the completion of Framework contracts with the wider head office team

• Matters regarding young people are confidential and must not be discussed except in the course of your duties

You should be able to demonstrate or possess:

• A background within a social care environment
• Excellent Communication
• Build strong relationships with all colleagues across the organisation as well as with Local Authority Partners
• Self-motivated and highly organised
• Ability to work under pressure to achieve tight deadlines
• Excellent IT skills, specifically Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
