Research Analyst

Role:

The Research Analyst will play a crucial role in identifying the ultimate parent companies of shareholders and their corresponding countries and ISIC sectors. This information is essential for understanding the corporate structure and global reach of our company’s shareholders.

Responsibilities:

• Database Research: Conduct in-depth searches using the Orbis database to identify the ultimate parent companies of shareholders.
• Company Website Analysis: Scrutinize company websites to gather additional information about shareholders, their countries, and ISIC sectors.
• Open Source Research: Utilize open-source resources, such as news articles, government filings, and industry reports, to supplement database and website research.
• Data Validation: Verify the accuracy of collected data to ensure its reliability and consistency.
• Data Organization: Organize and structure research findings into a clear and concise format for easy reference and analysis.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Strong research and analytical skills, including the ability to analyze complex financial data.
• Proficiency in using database tools, such as Orbis, and online research resources.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to work independently.
• Familiarity with corporate structures and financial concepts.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience working with global companies and understanding international business practices.
• Knowledge of industry-specific regulations and standards.
• Proficiency in multiple languages.
