We are currently looking for a senior copywriter with a proven track record in writing for complex business delivering first rate content from research reports to editorially commissioned articles and digital content.

Responsibilities

As Senior Copywriter you would be primarily responsible for delivering content for a range of of B2B clients.

• Create clear, compelling written material that brings a journalistic approach to creating narratives – selecting what matters from what doesn’t 
• Understand and simplify/synthesize complex issues in areas like law, accountancy/tax, technology and real estate (for example)
• Conduct desk research as required, or with the support of other team members, to inform/develop content and identify relevant third-party source information (written with appropriate context)
• Develop/deliver content in multiple formats (and advise on which format is most appropriate, based on topic/audience/intended use) – including research reports, blogs, editorially commissioned articles, case studies, social media (copy), Q&As, award submissions, internal or customer communications, etc
• Bring a ‘digital first’ mindset, based on client and campaign activation requirements, including understanding of writing for SEO (i.e. structuring, key word placement etc.)
• Coordinate and conduct effective interviews – including with senior leaders/spokespeople/experts – to capture information and craft summaries, quotes, articles and other content
• Independently manage each individual project/deliverable, whilst communicating clearly with account/team leader(s) and colleagues on project status, timelines, etc
• Provide some client management, including being the direct liaison point when circulating first draft materials and collating feedback/amends, and general overall project/workflow management for content-led client programmes (using existing firm processes, tools and resources)

Qualifications

• Degree educated (minimum 2:1)
• Minimum of four years’ PR agency experience
• Excellent communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills
• Professional, outgoing and client service oriented
• Detail-oriented and work effectively under pressure while meeting all applicable deadlines.
