Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled React and Next.js Developer to join our innovative team. This role involves developing a React application that integrates seamlessly with our clients’ websites as an iframe and admin panel using Next.js. You will also be responsible for designing and managing secure APIs to connect with our AI systems. While direct AI expertise is not required, familiarity with AI concepts and Python programming is considered a significant advantage. 

As part of our dynamic Creative and Development team, you will play a crucial role in delivering cutting-edge digital solutions. Your work will ensure seamless integration and optimal performance of our products within client environments. N.B. You will need to have the right to work in the UK – unfortunately we cannot sponsor visa’s.

Key Responsibilities: 

• Bespoke CMS:  Design and develop our intuitive admin panel using React, Next.js, Tailwind and MongoDB, facilitating efficient interaction with our AI components through secure APIs. 
• API Management:  Create, manage, and secure RESTful APIs built in Next.js to connect with AI systems, ensuring data integrity and protection against vulnerabilities. 
• Collaboration:  Work closely with Lead Product Manager, Project Manager, Designers to understand project requirements and deliver high-quality solution. 
• Technical Excellence:  Ensure cross-platform optimisation and responsiveness for all digital experiences created, adhering to coding standards and best practices. 
• Documentation:  Maintain comprehensive documentation related to development processes, software, and API specifications to support ongoing development and client interactions. 
• Innovation:  Participate actively in brainstorming sessions, offering innovative ideas and technical insights to enhance project outcomes. 

Technical Experience: 

• Tech stack – Proven substantial commercial technical experience in the following technologies: 
• React (hooks including Context API) – at least 5 years 
• TypeScript – at least 3 years 
• js – at least 3 years 
• js – at least 3 years 
• Tailwind 
• MongoDB 
• RESTful APIs 

Qualifications: 

• Proven experience in developing applications using React and Next.js. 
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+), including DOM manipulation and the JavaScript object model. 
• Experience with server-side rendering (SSR) and static site generation (SSG). 
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs and modern authorization mechanisms such as JSON Web Token. 
• Proficient understanding of front-end technologies such as HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript. 
• Experience with version control systems like GIT. 
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. 
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills. 
• Ability to manage time efficiently and meet tight deadlines. 
• Knowledge of AI concepts and Python programming is a plus

Education: 

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field
