Senior Network Technician

Capstone Solutions is a telecommunications construction company seeking an experienced Senior Network Technician for the greater Denver area. This technician must be able to perform all aspects of work detailed in the qualifications listed below.

Preferred Qualifications

• Advanced computer skills preferred (Basic Skills Essential).
• Advanced communication skills preferred (written and verbal).
• Ability to work independently.
• Ability to travel.
• Operate electronic test equipment including cable testers, battery testers, and other analysis equipment
• Run wire and install DC components/equipment (Fuse Alarm Panels, SIAD, Alarm systems, etc.) in a neat and quality manner.
• Cut, bend, thread, and install electrical conduit and associated fittings.
• Replace, service, and perform new wiring installs. 
• Dress and route cable into telecoms racks. 
• Experience pulling cable / wire through conduit in new construction facilities/existing older commercial buildings
• Configuration/ Basic understanding of small networks: Routers, Hubs, and Networks.
• Responsible for interpreting engineering and construction drawings for each project tasked to team.
• Responsible for forecasting and ordering material for upcoming projects to ensure appropriate stock on hand.
• Responsible for daily inventory of material prior to installation work to ensure correct parts available on truck and return trips aren’t needed.
• Responsible for coordination and communication with property owners, customers, and Capstone Management Team.
• Provide daily updates of tasks completed to management.
• Must understand and exemplify flexibility and efficiency with tasks provided.
• Mentor less experienced technicians specific to day-to-day operations.
• Prioritize efficiency in everyday processes.
• Ability to work in both indoor and outdoor conditions
• Demonstrate safe work habits and proper care for tools and equipment.
• Maintain valid driver’s license and clean driving record preferred.
• Other duties as assigned.
