Job Overview:

We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer QA for the mobile team to play a key role in both, qualifying product deliverables and contributing towards the automation process.

As a member of the QA team, you will play a critical role in the product development process and work closely with developers and business stakeholders in designing, implementing & executing tests. You will be responsible for maintaining, executing and adding to existing automation frameworks.

One critical aspect of the role is to facilitate the product and engineering teams by better aligning the product for native Arabic speakers. It’s therefore essential that you have fluency in spoken and written Arabic – familiarity with colloquial and conversational Arabic to the MENA region is an added advantage.

Responsibilities

●  Reviewing requirements, specifications and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback

●  Creating detailed and well-structured test cases & their execution for Web & Mobile Apps testing requirements

●  End-to-End testing and release of new features with the best quality possible.

●  Identifying, logging, tracking, and debugging bugs. Verifying bug fixes and updating QA documentation.

●  Development, execution and maintenance of automation testing framework & scripts and contribute in improving processes to enable QA to scale and improve quality.

Requirements

●  Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related field

●  5+ years hands-on experience in testing Android and iOS Mobile applications

●  Hands-on experience in Test Automation tools/frameworks (Selenium/TestNG/Java/Cucumber)

●  Experience testing backend Databases services (SQL) & REST APIs(SoapUI / PostMan or any other tool)

●  Familiarity with CI/CD processes and automated build tools would be a plus.

●  Strong problem solving and analytical skills

●  Ability to multi-task and handle multiple competing priorities with minimal supervision.
