About the job:
We are looking for talented individuals that can support various projects for various stages of development across the United States. This position has responsibility ranging from proposal development, project planning, and detailed scheduling through the life cycle of projects. This position will work closely with the Program Manager, Project Teams, Production Teams and various other levels of program leadership. Government program and EVMS experience required.
Job Description:
- Ability to develop and integrate master plans & schedules on Department of Defense (DOD) or Department of Energy (DOE) programs
- Ability to develop IMP/IMS for small to large programs or IPTs
- Ability to lead multi-schedule implementations and develop cross-project linking solutions
- Ability to direct cost and program managers
- Ability to lead program teams
- Ability to manage/supervise teammates
- Ability to manage small to medium implementations
- Ability to interact heavily with external customer and subcontractors
- Ability to create and conduct expert-level internal training sessions
Required Skills:
- Must have performed as a scheduler on previous Department of Defense (DOD) or Department of Energy (DOE) roles.
- Advanced knowledge of Primavera P6, Open Plan Professional (OPP), or MS Project experience with Integrated Schedules and Logic networks.
- Must be able to identify Critical and Driving paths, as well as create workaround schedules.
- Must have worked with Resource Loaded EVMS schedules on previous roles.
Personal Characteristics:
- Primavera P6, Open Plan Professional (OPP), or MS Project experience with Integrated Schedules and Logic networks.
- Deltek Cobra, MPM, Empower experience a plus.
- Proficient with database tools and related scheduling applications such as OnePager, Milestones Professional, Acumen Fuse, etc.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
- Reliable, driven, energetic, proactive, and resourceful, self-motivated with a high level of detail focus delivering work of the highest caliber.
- Highly organized, able to work well under pressure, multi-task, and deliver multiple priorities.
- Analytical makes quick and well thought-out decisions based upon assessing a few key facts.
- Excellent communications skills; oral and written
- Intermediate level proficient in Microsoft Office software.
- Able to work multiple shifts and varying hours.
- DOD or DOE Clearance a plus.
Education Requirements: College degree required with at least 10 years of scheduling experience. Master’s degree preferred.
