Senior Scientific Communications Manager

This position is located onsite in San Antonio, TX.

As part of the Medical Affairs team, the Senior Scientific Communications Manager partners strategically with the business and scientific stakeholders by providing scientific and clinical expertise, critically evaluating literature and clinical evidence to create messaging and communications, developing presentations and publications supporting Tiger Aesthetics’ medical products, and responding to medical information requests. Additionally, this position is responsible for crafting long-term strategies to improve information delivery and education, while developing relationships with various stakeholders and plastic surgery experts, such as key opinion leaders and societies.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Communicate evidence with succinct, data-driven messaging.
• Act as a technical subject matter expert and respond to medical information requests.
• Interface with representatives from other key functional groups, including Research and Development, Regulatory Affairs, Marketing, Clinical, Legal, and other groups to support business needs.
• Build familiarity with current plastic surgery literature, including Tiger Aesthetics Medical’s product lines and market competitors.
• Understand gaps in the literature and develop strategies to publish evidence to support key business needs.
• Develop and deliver content for physician educational events.
• Maintain knowledge of industry trends.
• Maintain confidentiality of all information and data.
• Foster relationships with key opinion leaders and professional societies through research and education partnerships.
• Serve on New Product Development Teams to identify, analyze, and provide guidance on new products and strategic corporate partnerships.
• Report to work in-person and start job responsibilities on time for assigned shift.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Education & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in a scientific, medical discipline, or related field.
• Advanced degree preferred.
• 5+ years of medical affairs, clinical, or medical writing experience in the medical device industry or equivalent.
• Demonstrated ability to simplify complicated scientific information in verbal, visual, and written formats.
