About the job:

BurdaLuxury is seeking a Social Media Growth Executive to manage and elevate the social media channels for our teams in India, Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand and Hong Kong. The role will focus on ensuring growth by leveraging data and analytics, and facilitating engaging content for our portfolio brands, Augustman, Lifestyle Asia, Prestige and T+L, with a focus on men’s lifestyle for Augustman. We are looking for an analytically driven professional who will data and reporting, content strategy recommendations, paid activities, and engagement efforts, ultimately driving growth for our brands across Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, LinkedIn & Tiktok. The ideal candidate should have a passion for social media, comfortable with numbers, excel, and analytical tools, & drawing actionable insights from data and reports. They must have a good command over English, and a keen awareness of contemporary popular culture and social media trends.

 

 

KEY REQUIREMENTS:

  • Data analysis & reporting – conduct daily, weekly, and monthly data reporting and performance reviews for our portfolio brands with a special focus on Augustman  for Singapore and Malaysia, utilizing analytical tools like Brandwatch, Metricool, Meta Suite
  • Perform regular monthly social media audits and deep dives, incorporating competition analysis, case studies and benchmarking against both Burda brands and our competitors
  • Define how insights are acted by different teams and stakeholders
  • Document and regularly update platform-specific best practices and guidelines for effective communication with stakeholders
  • Explore website traffic potential via social channels and strategize for various platforms
  • Coordinate social schedules, develop best practices for posting
  • Manage, execute and optimise Instagram ads with an aim to increase followers and profile visits, oversee monthly budget management and reporting for paid marketing initiatives.
  • Collaborate with social media managers to develop exclusive UGC, and social-only IPs, and implement a distribution strategy.
  • Efficiently create engaging graphics and videos for social media, using Canva/Photoshop
  • Develop and maintain a working relationship with both editorial and regional social media team to meet shared KPIs

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 2+ years of professional experience managing and growing social media channels, particularly Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube & TikTok for a lifestyle magazine or brand
  • Strong analytical and creative thinking abilities
  • Proven track record in analysing and interpreting data to shape clear strategies
  • Familiarity with various social media analytics dashboards (Instagram, Meta Suite, Twitter Insights, YouTube Creator Studio) and Google Analytics, as well as third-party tools like Meltwater, Brandwatch, Emplify, Hootsuite etc
  • Passion for storytelling and a deep understanding of content marketing
  • Up-to-date knowledge of the latest social media tools, trends, and platforms
  • Excellent spoken and written English skills
  • Appreciation for BurdaLuxury’s core content areas, including luxury lifestyle, food, fashion, travel, and entertainment
  • Experience with Adobe Photoshop and Canva.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative team environment.
  • Good understanding of the SEA market, or a keen interest in learning more about it to facilitate achievement of growth KPIs
  • Previous experience with men’s lifestyle brands, and familiarity with a remote/hybrid work setting is preferred but not mandatory
