Solutions Senior Engineer

I. PURPOSE

Responsible for tailoring communications to address business needs of potential clients as part of the pre-sales process.

Systems Engineers are responsible for the design stage. The role can include designing system, survey, presentation and demonstration. Systems engineers deal with both hardware and software solutions.

II. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

· Responsible for Pre-sales or solution sales activities.

· Attending Pre-sales cases and activities such as Proof-of-Concept (POC), meetings, Bill-of-Materials (BoM), solution presentation, reports and High-Level Design (HLD) with minimum supervision of their leads.

· Involved in Project design for Enterprise Network and Network Security solutions.

· Work closely, coordinate and update plan of activities with TL, Solutions Architect and BDM if working for project design and key accounts respectively

· Acquire assigned Subject Matter Expert (SME) solution training and certifications.

· Creates and response to Term of References (ToR) or Request for Proposal (RFP)

· Provide consultation and phone/email/onsite design scoping and discussion in ensuring customer satisfaction.

· Attending a marketing event or an IT conference activity as participant or guest speaker to present the organization’s key solutions and services.

· Properly update and close all assigned cases as fast, timely and efficiently as possible.

· Share knowledge and skills, provide pre-sales related activity guidance for junior engineers.

· Use essential job tools and applications diligently.

III. QUALIFICATIONS

A. Minimum Education

· A graduate of any 4-year IT related courses:

§ BS in Electronics Engineering

§ BS in Electronics and Communications Engineering

§ BS in Information Technology

§ BS in Computer Engineering

§ BS in Computer Science

· BS in Information System

B. Minimum Experience/Training

· Experience with Network or any technical/IT related field is preferred

· With at least a year or 2 of related experience is preferred

C. Competency

· Ability to work and understand the client’s requirements.

· Possesses comprehensive knowledge of pre-sales and sales functions, delivering tailored outcomes aligned with these roles.

· Shows professional level of attention to understand the task and challenges.

· Able to adapt willingly in terms of understanding new technologies and approach.

· Works well with a group and sets common goals as a team
