About the role as Sr. Manager of Analytics
The Sr. Manager of Analytics will sit within Digital Fuel’s Center of Excellence and report to our Director of Analytics. The primary responsibility of this role will be to interact with our portfolio companies in the following capacities: helping to onboard a proprietary analytics tool and working through organizational data development, spending extended periods of time being embedded within portfolio companies to develop analytical capabilities, taking on ad hoc analytical projects, and collaborating with the Digital Fuel team on development of the proprietary analytics tool.
Responsibilities:
- Lead onboarding of proprietary analytics tool at portfolio companies and develop organizational use of data; define additional customization and build dashboards as necessary
- Embed at defined portfolio companies (1-2 at a time) and develop analytical capabilities
- Execute ad hoc analytical projects originating from portfolio companies and/or Digital Fuel team members
- Provide analytical insights into customer segmentation and customer repeat opportunities
- Collaborate with Digital Fuel on product roadmap for proprietary analytics tool
- Identify and help resolve data quality issues related to proprietary analytics tool
Qualifications:
- Fluency in SQL
- Experience building dashboards in at least one BI tool (Tableau, Looker, PowerBI, etc)
- Knowledge of data warehousing and ETL concepts
- Experience with marketing analytics and concepts
- Experience with Google Analytics
- Outgoing and driven to mentor and work with external teams
- Familiarity with programming language such as Python or R preferred, but not required
