Double shot is a talent management agency that launched in November 2020 as a sister agency of the digital marketing and PR firm, 1Milk2Sugars. Founded by Priya Chopra, the agency aims to amplify BIPOC, LGBTQ+, and underrepresented voices in lifestyle marketing. As one of the first talent agency in Canada to prioritize global inclusivity, double shot works with a diverse roster of influencers and collaborates with top-tier brands to inject authenticity into their campaigns.

Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid role for a Student Intern at double shot agency to start in the Winter of 2025. The Student Intern will be responsible for assisting with various day-to-day tasks, including research, content creation, social media management, and supporting influencer campaigns. The role will be based in Montreal, QC, or Toronto, ON with flexibility for some remote work. This role is funded by the Government of Canada.

Start Date: December 3, 2024

End date: March 29, 2025

Influencer Marketing & Talent Admin:

  • Weekly updates to talent metrics (engagement rates, number of followers, etc) and marketing assets
  • Support and create talent marketing assets (media kits, one-pagers)
  • Effectively use the agency’s tools, processes and systems to accomplish tasks
  • Support in campaign management
  • Support in drafting talent pitches
  • Find new talent and brand contacts
  • General administrative tasks

Requirements:

  • Must be currently enrolled in a Canadian-accredited post-secondary institution with a focus in Public Relations, Communications, Marketing, Journalism or related field.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Familiarity with social media platforms and digital marketing techniques.
  • Highly organized with excellent attention to detail.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Google Suite (Gmail, Docs, Sheets, Slides).
  • Positive attitude, willingness to learn, and a team player mentality.

• Previous experience working in an agency or office environment
