About Preface

Preface tackles the issues of our traditional education model to cultivate future global talents through our immersive lifestyle learning experiences. Through “Preface Coffee & Wine,” we combine tech with lifestyle through this experiential space.
In 2021, we secured 6M USD Series A funding. Since then, we have partnered with a range of global companies, such as Meta, IWC, Warner Music and Fila to showcase the possibility of technology.
Not to mention one of our focus in 2022 is to expand the Preface Ecosystem globally. We are just getting started.

As a high-growth organization, we are seeking to bring on an approachable, proactive, and detail-oriented talent with superb attitude to join our team. With our recent expansion, we are looking for a Workplace Excellence Associate, who would play an important role in the ongoing success of Preface. 

The Community Excellence team at Preface is committed to creating the optimal environment for our internal and external stakeholders. You will be a key representative of the face and voice of our organization and the first impression to our visitors and guests.

About the Role 

• Create a welcoming, collaborative and ever-improving culture in the nomad/ instructor community
• Design community initiatives to build connections among internal staff, trainees and instructors
• Develop, deliver, support, and evaluate training programs, workshops and conferences
• Serve as the primary point of contact and be active in the instructors’ community
• Assist with teaching quality assurance logistics to ensure best learning experience
• Solve instructor-related issues to ensure a cohesive community
• Address day-to-day operation issues including class scheduling and Instructors’ availability etc.

About You

As an ideal candidate…

• You are a passionate and engaging communicator
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple assignments
• Enjoys managing both internal and external relationships
• Have basic technical knowledge and has a strong sense of curiosity to stay up-to-date on latest tech news
• Passionate about people development, education and technology
• A people-person who actively listens and takes thoughtful actions

Required Skills:

• Possess 1-2 years of relevant training experience and/or customer service 
• Proficient in both written and verbal English
• Demonstrate excellence in interpersonal, organizational and problem-solving skills
• Highly flexible and adaptable to continuous change and growth
