Travel Coordinator

TLF is a team of experts in IT, marketing, advertising and promotion activities.  We are expanding our team and we are currently looking for a highly capable individual who will ensure that all travel requests of our UBO are optimally managed.  The position is remote.

Type of Employment:  Full-Time

Location:  Remote

Key responsibilities of the position:

• Arrange travel and accommodation as per the UBO’s requirements
• Serve as a general resource and point of contact for travel-related requests or issues
• Research, negotiate and secure rates with airlines, hotels car reservations and ground transportation 
• Identify most suitable and best quality services with reasonable possible rates
• Act to ensure safe and efficient travel operations in accordance with requirements
• Ensure any special requests for traveling or accommodation are met
• Confirm reservations, distribute tickets along with confirmations to the traveler
• Maintain history of travel related preferences
• Make sure to keep up with any flight changes or cancellations and arrange alternatives as per the requirements
• Make sure all deadlines are met

Job requirements and competencies:

• Experience working in travel agency or similar position is a must
• Experience working with high volumes of bookings and general travel arrangements is a must
• Fluent in English
• Available during non-traditional business hours to quickly resolve travel-related issues
• Detailed oriented with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and operate well under pressure and time constraints
• Excellent communication skills
• Exceptional problem solving skills
