Join Us In Beautiful Annapolis
Nestled deep in the beautiful bay area 5 minutes from downtown Annapolis is our new state-of-the-art referral center open 24 hours and 365 days a year. We have 24+ Veterinarians, 60+ Technicians, 15+ Assistants and 10+ Client Service Representatives. We work side-by-side with different specialty departments and care for their patients overnight. New hires will gain experience working with neurology, surgery, internal medicine, oncology, cardiology, rehabilitation and ophthalmology cases. It is a great field to develop your skills and there is always something new and exciting to learn in our spacious conference room where we host continuing education for veterinarians and support staff. We are currently hiring FT Client Services Representatives.

What You’ll Get to Do
As an ER Client Service Representative you will commonly:
- Deliver phone triage by answering our multi-line telephone system
- Assess the severity of each patient’s problem upon arrival
- Prioritize the order in which patients are seen by veterinarians
- Communicate treatment plans and associated costs
- Facilitate and process payments
- Batch and scan medical records to electronic database
- Coordinate communication between referring veterinarians and emergency clinicians
- Educate clients on patients’ issues, providing comfort to grieving clients, and more

Qualifications for the Position
Education: High School Diploma or equivalent. College degree a plus.
Experience: 2 years or more of advanced customer service and communication experience.
Personality: Successful candidates will be cheerful, polished, and professional, exhibiting excellent oral and written skills. Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills; demonstrating thoughtful and prudent decision-making abilities, and highly-developed interpersonal skills.
Availability: This is a 24-hour emergency clinic open 365 days per year. All employees are expected to work some combination of nights, weekends, and holidays.
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
Shift Times Available:
4pm-2am
5pm-3am
6pm-4am
Depends upon experience & qualifications. $20/hr & up
Shift differential between 12 a.m. and 6 a.m. is +25% per hour.
