Web QA Engineer

FP Markets Group of Companies is a well-established globally regulated Australian broker offering traders access to CFDs across Forex, Indices, Commodities, Stocks and Cryptocurrencies. We are growing and looking to recruit a Web QA Engineer.

Responsibilities:

• Reviewing requirements and specifications, technical design documentation, creating detailed test plans, executing tests, documenting test results
• Conduct tests as appropriate ( integration testing, functional testing, behavioral/acceptance testing)
• Testing new functionality manually for front end web applications
• Working closely with developers and analyst team to identify and resolve defects and to ensure product meets the required quality standards
• Gather and document the outcome of test executions and information needed to support ongoing measurements and reporting on risks, defects, tests and coverage
• Maintaining test documentation
• Identifying and reporting defects and tracking and verifying defect fixes

Candidate Profile:

• At least 4-5 years of work experience as a Software QA Engineer
• University degree in computer science or a similar technical field
• Strong knowledge of the principles of functional, regression, manual, integration testing
• Understanding of REST API, HTTP, JSON, WebSocket
• Skilled in using Jira, BrowserStack, TestRail, DevTools
• Experience working in Agile
• Strong communication skills
• Good level of spoken and written English

Nice to have

• Understanding of trading platforms and CRM systems
• Financial products familiarity: such as CFD, stocks, cryptocurrencies
