About the job:
Position Title: Warehouse Technician
Department: Warehouse
Reports To: Warehouse & Fleet Manager
Exempt / Non-Exempt: Non-Exempt
Full-time/Part-time: Full-time
Summary:
Under minimal supervision, the Warehouse Technician compiles records related to the ordering, receiving, storing, issuing, and shipping of materials and supplies for the Tohono O’odham Ki:Ki Association. This role is responsible for receiving and disbursing construction tools, supplies, and materials.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Receives and issues materials and supplies, handling and shipping return items.
- Occasionally picks up critical material, supplies, or equipment.
- Notifies Procurement and Accounts Payable of variances between purchase orders and actual items received.
- Works with Procurement to compile stock control records, determining stock supply and replenishment needs.
- Maintains inventory records, reviews unused items, and recommends disposal of unneeded stock.
- Follows processes and procedures for safeguarding TOKA assets.
- Monitors MSDS hazardous substances and maintains MSDS sheets for all hazardous substances used.
- Maintains records of the number and location of all mobile phones, radios, and computers.
- Performs warehouse and surrounding grounds maintenance.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Preferred Qualifications:
– Sage accounting software competency is strongly desired.
Certificates and Licenses:
– Valid Arizona Driver’s License required.
– No DUIs in the past three (3) years.
– Commercial Driver’s License preferred.
– Forklift Operator Certification.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
This job has no supervisory responsibilities.
- Education and/or Experience – High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience, Peachtree experience a plus but not required.
- Language Skills – Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
- Mathematical Skills – Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
- Reasoning Ability – Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
- Computer Skills – To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of MS Access Database software; MS Internet Explorer Internet software; MS Excel Spreadsheet software, MS Word software, MS PowerPoint Presentation software and MS Outlook Email and Scheduling software.
