At Quantum Learning, we go beyond instructional design to architect game-changing implementations that touch a number of key stakeholders in pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies: district sales managers, sales representatives, training managers, IT, and sales operations. This requires someone who is comfortable playing a leadership role in managing large-scale implementations as well as doing detailed instructional design.
Leader & Collaborator
You’ll be playing a leadership role in connecting the dots between our Clients goals, Quantum’s core content, and the implementation architecture and instructional design required to deliver measurable business results.
You’ll work closely with sales to help architect proposals that are instructionally sound, and logistically organized to meet our client’s needs. You’ll also do detailed instructional design for individual components. And you’ll work with our production team to deliver on time and at budget.
Manage Customer Engagements
Once a sale is made, you’ll be leading the customer engagement managing the design, development and delivery of our solutions. You’ll be collaborating with the account executive, but will have primary responsibility for fulfilling our promise to clients.
Instructional Design
You’ll take existing content and organize it in new ways that requires “tweaking” of existing instructional designs. And from time to time you’ll be creating new content and doing that instructional design from scratch. The ratio is probably 75% existing content tweaking, 25% new content creation.
Transformational Experience Design
Finally you’ll design end-to-end transformational experiences incorporating mobile, Zoom, and live events as part of Quantum’s total solution to help our clients compete, win, and grow their brands.
Digital Asset Development
From time to time you’ll be writing video scripts, supporting development of podcasts, and much more. All with the goal of creating an end-to-end transformational experience for our clients.
Qualifications
- A Bachelors degree. 3-5 years of experience doing instructional design for Fortune 500 clients required.
- Proven track record of leading large projects with multiple stakeholders.
- Excellent writing skills – clear, credible, and engaging.
- Excellent collaboration, interpersonal and team leadership skills.
- Superb facilitation and presentation skills to taskforces, committees, and executives. Strong knowledge of PowerPoint and Adobe InDesign, Photoshop.
- Organized, disciplined and focused.
- Strategic thinker who knows how to manage all aspects of a client engagement.
Bonus Qualifications
- Expertise in video, audio, animation.
- Adobe Creative Cloud: After-effects, Premier, etc.
- Expertise in developing web-pages.
- Passion for learning.
- Ability to create fresh new content.
