We are currently seeking a motivated and customer-oriented individual to join our team as a Leasing Agent/Rental Agent.
Job Description:
Reporting to the Rentals Property Manager, the Leasing Agent will be responsible for assisting prospective tenants, facilitating property tours, and supporting the leasing process for our residential properties. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to start their career in residential property management and gain valuable experience in a dynamic and supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist prospective tenants in a friendly and professional manner
- Conduct property tours and showcase available rental units
- Respond to inquiries via phone, email, and in-person, providing accurate and timely information
- Assist with the application and leasing process, ensuring all required documentation is completed accurately
- Follow up with prospective tenants to maintain interest and address any questions or concerns
- Maintain knowledge of current rental rates, availability, and property features
- Assist in preparing lease agreements and related paperwork
- Collaborate with the property management team to ensure a smooth leasing process
- Participate in marketing and outreach efforts to attract potential tenants
- Ensure compliance with company policies, local regulations, and fair housing laws
- Inspect all vacant suites and prepare model suites to ensure show-ready condition
- Confirm resident has transferred utility accounts, where applicable
- Prepare resident move-in packages
- Handle all inquiries, feedback, complaints or concerns professionally and courteously
- Accepting rent payments, security deposits and other applicable fees
- Ensure lead tracking software is consistently updated.
- Proven experience in a fast-paced sales environment.
- Exceptional time management skills.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; some college coursework preferred
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Experience in rental administration is an asset.
- Customer service experience is an asset
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality
- Positive attitude and willingness
Working Conditions:
