Your Role and Responsibilities:

As a Periodontist in our patient-centered practice, you’ll bring your expertise in periodontics to deliver personalized, high-quality care for our patients, ensuring they receive the best treatment for optimal oral health and confident smiles. You will:

• Diagnose and treat periodontal disease using a variety of treatment modalities
• Perform non-surgical and surgical periodontal procedures, including scaling and root planing, pocket reduction surgery, and bone grafting
• Place and restore dental implants
• Collaborate with our general dentists to ensure comprehensive patient care
• Provide patient education on periodontal care and maintenance
• Stay up-to-date with the latest techniques in periodontics and continuing education

Qualifications:

• Licensed to practice dentistry in Maryland (DDS, DMD, or equivalent specialty certification required)
• Proficient in performing a range of periodontal procedures, including surgical and non-surgical treatments
• Experience in placing dental implants
• Exceptional clinical skills with a commitment to detail and patient care.
• Strong communication skills to build rapport with patients and guide them through treatment options
• Up-to-date certification in CPR
• Liability insurance (minimum $2,000,000 per occurrence, $6,000,000 annual aggregate)

Key Performance Indicators:

• Achieve an average net production of $500 per hour over any 16-day period
• Maintain a case acceptance rate of 50% or higher for comprehensive treatments
• Ensure a 98% collection rate of net production over any consecutive 16-day period
