Job Summary:

As a Procurement Coordinator at InspireMD you will issue purchase orders, receive schedules and delivery commitments from vendors, and assist in identifying future supply constraints before they become problematic. You will maintain the ERP part catalogue and work closely with cross-functional teams to align supply chain activities with company goals. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Work closely with the Supply Chain Manager to issue purchase orders in a timely manner and generate valid and accurate vendor schedules of raw materials with a focus on cost, flexible responsiveness, safety stocks and inventory, to support production schedules.
• Obtain delivery commitment from suppliers, supporting the schedules and enabling them to plan their production in line with InspireMD requirements.
• Identify future supply constraints before it becomes problematic, and work with stakeholders to develop options for resolution.
• Maintain ERP part catalogue and update as required.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including manufacturing, quality assurance, sales, and logistics, to align supply chain activities with company goals and customer expectations.
• Establish and maintain effective relationships with suppliers

Requirements (Relevant Education/ Languages, Skills)

• 2nd/3rd year student in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business and Industrial Engineering or equivalent.
• Knowledge/Experience in a Supply Chain, Logistics and/or manufacturing environment – an advantage
• Strong IT skills, particularly on MS Excel.
• Excellent organization skills and attention to detail.
• Experience with ERP systems, preferably Priority – an advantage
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• High level of English
