Overview:

• Oversee all financial and accounting activities within a digital marketing company.
• Manage financial operations, ensure compliance with financial regulations, and provide strategic financial insights.
• Ideal candidate has a strong background in finance and accounting, experience in digital marketing, and holds a CPA (Certified Public Accountant) or CPF (Certified Professional Finance) certification.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and manage annual budgets, forecasts, and financial plans.
• Analyze financial performance, identify trends, and provide actionable insights.
• Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports to senior management.
• Oversee daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger functions.
• Ensure timely and accurate month-end and year-end close processes.
• Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with accounting standards (GAAP or IFRS).
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal financial regulations, including tax filings.
• Liaise with external auditors and manage audit processes.
• Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets.
• Collaborate with the executive team to develop and implement financial strategies that support business objectives.
• Evaluate investment opportunities and provide financial advice on key business decisions.
• Manage company cash flow, capital allocation, and working capital management.
• Lead and mentor the finance and accounting team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
• Conduct performance evaluations, provide feedback, and support professional development.
• Oversee the integration of financial software and tools to improve efficiency and accuracy.
• Ensure financial systems are optimized to meet the needs of the digital marketing business model.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
• CPA (Certified Public Accountant) or CPF (Certified Professional Finance) certification required.
• Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in financial management, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.
• Proven experience in the digital marketing industry or a similar fast-paced environment is highly desirable.
• Strong understanding of financial regulations, accounting principles (GAAP/IFRS), and tax compliance.
• Proficiency in financial software (Peak Account)
• Advanced Excel skills and experience with financial modeling.
