We are currently looking for our “Medical Science Liaison Specialist» to join our Medical AffairsTeam.
In this role, you will act as the field-based expert on Labatec scientific data and products, responsible for engagement with external medical stakeholders in Switzerland, scientific communications and ensuring overall compliance with Labatec’s medical / Pharmacovigilance answers, scientific trainings for the Sales team and the promotional marketing material.
You will report to the Market Access / Medical Affairs Lead and work cross-functionally with all relevant regional and global team members (Marketing, RA, QA, Market Access, Sales, Pharmacovigilance, Business Development, Alliance Management, etc.).
MEDICAL FIELD ACTIVITIES
- Serve as a scientific expert to support developing and implementing strategic initiatives and projects.
- Medical-centric engagement with healthcare professionals, key opinion leaders, and other stakeholders to provide scientific insights and foster strong relationships.
- Conduction of presentations, advisory board meetings, and other educational activities to communicate the latest scientific data and therapeutic advancements.
- Collect and report competitive intelligence and insights from the field to support Business Development.
N.B. The proportion of fieldwork will vary based on project-specific business requirements.
OTHER MEDICAL AFFAIRS ACTIVITIES
- Analyzing and interpreting clinical data to support the development of scientific communications.
- Develop and deliver scientific content for internal and external use, including slide decks, brochures, and educational materials to support the Marketing department.
- Revision and approval of promotional materials to ensure compliance with scientific and regulatory standards to support Medical Affairs.
- Provide scientific training and support to internal teams to enhance their understanding of products, therapeutic areas, and market dynamics.
- Contribute to developing medical strategy and tactical plans in collaboration with the Medical Affairs and Marketing departments.
- Answering medical requests to support Medical Affairs.
- Support on Pharmacovigilance’s questions to support Local Safety Officer.
We are looking for
- Master’s degree in medicine, Pharmacy or life sciences (biology, biochemistry), PhD is a plus
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in the medical-scientific fields (i.e. Medical Science Liaison or Medical Advisor). Alternatively, a solid experience as KAM (Key Account Manager) or Marketing Specialist
- Ability to interpret clinical data and present complex information effectively
- Strong redactional skills
- Good Project Management skills
- Good understanding of the Swiss Regulatory requirements and the Swiss healthcare system
- Patient-centric focused
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills
- Highly flexible
- Cross-functional team player
- Accuracy
- Excellent spoken and written English, French and German
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
- Home-based role with field activities up to 50%
- Monthly travels to Geneva’s office will be required
